With, regret, I report the passing of Warren Chapman in the US , one of the world’s luminaries in the T3 VW world.
Warren ran the Subaruvanagon website and was legendary in being a mine of information in the matter of fitting Subaru engines to the T3. The amount of time he spent helping people is probably unparalleled. Warren planned to acquire a Syncro so that he could get to his favourite fly fishing spots but he didn’t make it. He knew that he had cancer and that time was running out, but this did not impede him. He was helping others up to the end.
Warren Chapman was greatly respected and will be greatly missed.
Les
(PS: it was Warren who first posted the information on the self-settling of the front diff position to eliminate drive shaft vibrations.)
