Draing and filling the cooling system

Could someone point me to a step by step (video or written) process to drain and fill the cooling system please?
I have searched the forum and have found discussion but not step by step. From what I understand from other people’s comments the Bentley (a copy of which I should have soon) is not enough detail. I have seen some videos on youtube but not sure if they work. E.g. devising a method using a tyre valve to pressurise the system etc.
Greatly appreciate any assistance.

This is one way to do it which works well.

I often use the Go Westy pump which has a gauge.

Pump it up to 15psi and bleed the air through the thermostat bleed valve along with the radiator bleed valve.

This is another version based on a similar principle:

And this is with the Go Westy pump version:

Thanks Scott. Good to know that these methods work.
I might get one of those Go Westy pumps and give it a go.
Although the freight costs are pretty high…
Appreciate you responding. Thanks again.

I’ve done it the Vdub manual way - raise the rear wheels, run engine and bleed the rad, which also works.
But these pumpy ways look way easier!

One thing missing from all these instructions if there is a bleed valve in the system that has to be opened, then closed once finished.

Thanks for the response. I thought that Benteys manual says that the front needs to be raised, not the back??
Never having done it, I don’t know.
Another query which I know has been part of previous discussions.
Can I use G12 instead of G11 coolant?
Is G11 still available?
I have read that it is not good to mix them.
Should I flush the system with distilled water?

Sorry I mistyped - it is indeed the front that comes up to let the air out.
Not sure on the G11/12, once the system is fully flushed I just use quality new green concentrate and demineralised water with just enough concentration to protect against corrosion and freezing as we never get much below 0C here in WA.
