earth strap

Hello

Have just completed install of one of Florian's decouplers today. All went well and works a treat. There is an earth strap floating in the breeze after the install. It's fastened to the body just above the nose cone but I am not sure where it fits to. I assume it goes to the gearbox due to its short length but I cant remember undoing it.

Can someone help me here? Regards Greg.
Greg, from memory it goes under one of the flange bolts of the nose cone. If you look at your old nose cone you will see the out line of the cable on one of the holes. Greg E

Thanks Theo and Greg for your replys.
Clearly I have missed the earth strap when fitting the nose cone.

By removing one bolt from the nose cone will I upset the torque
settings/seal where nose cone is bolted to gearbox or create a potential oil leak down the track.

or will one bolt removed and replaced not make any difference?

Greg

No stress, just re-torque after intalling strap.
