I have a bit more time available than you so I will take over the Edinburgh Gardens for you.

Sunday 25 March from memory, located where Brunswick St becomes St George's Road, North Fitzroy, 10AM to 2PM.

We get few opportunities to gather together in Melbourne, so please give some thought to coming.  Because of the few opportunities, let's plan now for mid-winter gathering as well.  Druids are invited to perform the appropriate ceremony so long as it doesn't involving burning Syncros.

Sebastian, you live just a shanghai shot away so please put in an appearance, even if only for thirty minutes - you never know when you are going to need one of us so we would like to know who you are.

The use of the special entry gate has been confirmed.  Registered T3 Syncros will be able to enter by this gate instead of going through the general gate.  (Non-registered will go to general parking, as previously notified.)

Hello les,

Just want to let you know we will be opening the venue gate next to Rat Hill this year for entry to the groups that park on that side of the venue.

( . . . but the Rat Hill gate isn’t marked [on the general map] as being open so we don’t want everyone coming through this gate so we aren’t publicising it.)

We will let the traders in through this gate between 7.30am and 9.00am, then this gate will remain open between 9.00am and 11.00am.

So could you let the Syncro Owners group know they can use this entrance between 9 and 11.

Hi all, just registered for DOTVW 2012 so hopefully will make it to the show with a working Syncro rather than my 2wd for the first time.
Just a question about the special entry gate Les, does it appear on any map as I couldn't find a map of the venue on the VW club website.

Eddie,

It isn’t on the VW Club website because the committee wants it used only by the few designated groups at the west end of the display area.  The main entry gate gets a bit chaotic at times and this will help that somewhat.  It is shown only on the committee’s own map and the one that I sent out to our own group on Monday, attached to the email that you have just replied to.

I have just sent you a direct email with the map attached.

If anyone else reads the posts only through the website, be aware that there is no attachment function.  Documents, pics, etc, can be attached to the emails that are read through the “Individual Emails” membership function but not through the website.
