Engine for sale

Thought I would post this here first before Gumtree.
190000km T3 Syncro engine full service history with aircon and power steering.
Asking $2500.
If you're in WA you can still see it running for the next couple of weeks.
No issues with the motor at all.

Hi Greg,
Subaru 2.5 ready to be installed so I thought best to sell the old motor while it's still running.
Running a Trakka conversion loaded up with aircon on just doesn't do it for me any more !
I'll get a few pics up once it's done.

yes I spied your van also. Had to sneak a peak inside.. Can you tell me where you got your roof struts and what spec and pressure they are ?

Nannup is a great weekend music festival for anyone in WA.

Hi Mark. Sorry for not getting back sooner.

You are right Nannup is a great weekend.

The struts came from the Strut Specialists, Osborne Park. 94464296, Peter is the man.

Originally he was very excited about seeing my original struts and reconditioned them. This didnt work for some reason.

They ended up different pressures. Then we went with a new option, he credited the recond cost against the new struts. They were not overly expensive but I cant remember the cost.

The ones you saw are 700N struts. I have the original solar panels on the roof so this will have a bearing on the weight.

Can you tell me about the mats you have rolled up on the front of your roo bar?

The name etc and are they effective?

Hi Greg,

thanks for that strut info. I run solar panels too but want to also allow for roof racks and surfboard so I'll discuss that with the strut guys.
Front tracks are Bushranger Xtrax cost about $140 at a 4wd show a few years back. Never had to use them but they're pretty solid . Bought them after I used my surfboard cover under the wheels in deep sand once and wrecked it. Drop your tyres to 15 psi and keep moving is the trick...

Hi Greg,

just about ready for startup. Wiring and aircon hoses took a while. Then it's air filter and cruise control
and we're ready.
Sold the old wasserboxer for $2250 if anyone is trying to guess the value of them.
Pic of underside attached. All Small car parts.

Starting to get a bit excited but electrical is bound to cause dramas.
