Hi wondering if anyone knows if I will have any trouble fitting a 15" CSA rim to my syncro with an ET24 offset. I think it came off a Syncro but thought Syncro rims were ET 31 or 34? any advice appreciated. Thanks
Hi Greg,
My wheels are alloy 15 x 7" and they are ET25.
I have no issue with fitting the wheels to my syncro with 235 x 75 x 15 tyres and they clear everything.
I tried the same wheels (my spare wheel) which unfortunately had an offset of ET35 and it would hit the rear trailing arm and upper front wishbone so I couldn’t use it. I had a permanent 10mm spacer fitted to that spare wheel so I can use it in an emergency - otherwise its just sits on the wheel carrier.
I have had no problem on my 2wd vans with Mercedes alloys with ET23 offset as well.
The bigger the off-set the smaller the tyres you can use.
Should be no problem in fitment at all, Running CSA’s as well with an Offset of 25 (roughly measured).
Thanks for your help here much appreciated
Thanks Scott very helpful
Mine had these CSA 15x7 with BFG All Terain 215 75/15. Until I put the guard flairs on they just rubbed slightly on 50% lock if I drove over a 150mm step or gutter. Any tyres smaller than that would never touch.
