Further to the original owners theme, is there
anyone on the list who are first owners of the ex-Telecom Syncros that were sold
off to the public?

HI Les,
As you know, mine was ex Telstra. I purchased it from Fowles in Altona in about September 1996 and had it for nearly 11 years. Steve is now the third owner. There were 3 that went through the auction that day, but I never had any contact with the other buyers. I know there were quite a lot going through the auctions at that time and I think my batch was getting towards the end of the sell-off. They were probably all contracted to be sold by Fowles (not just in Melbourne ), so they might know how many were sold, if they’ve kept records.
