Fraser trip movie, NT rego

Good day all,

I have finally finished my little clip from our last syncro Trip up to Fraser. It was a blast and only sparked the desire to go for more trips rather sooner then later. I would also like to do some weekend trips into the mountains, some interested syncros could give me a call....

Further I would like to thank Les for all his work and keeping us all connected. The benefits are countless to have this community. I am a ready rather then a poster but this is only because my experience is dimming lay small and wouldn't really help. :-)

I uploaded to YouTube, enjoy!

One last thing,
Is ther anyone on the forum that could be helpful with some vehicle registration in the Northern Territory, since my car is LHD and I like to take it back to Europe with me once this chapter of my life is over and we move back. Further it is not nice to know holes being cut into the nicely preserved skin of my van.

I live in NSW and have to wait 4 more years to have an old timer and be exempt from this rule RHD rule.

Cheers,

Kind regards,

Jens

Jens,

Great video - love your van - looks like it has all the good stuff.

If you are living in Sydney we should organise another weekend away to an off-road area somewhere around Sydney or Central Coast or Wollongong area.

Preferably not a long weekend as everything is very busy.

A couple of months notice is also required to allow people to have a clear weekend.

Cheers,

Skot

Great video Jens, I would love to do a weekend with fellow syncros somewhere not too far from sydney in a few weeks, or at least before easter.  Sam

Fantastic video. Would love to take the Syncro there. Last time I did it in a 30 year old Defender.

I'd be keen on a weekend away preferably south of Sydney or Blue Mountains. Perhaps we should start another forum thread on the topic. Anyone with local knowledge keen to organise?

Jon.

Yerranderie.

Mittagong, Wombeyan Caves, Yerranderie, Dingo Dell, Kanangra Walls, Jenolan Caves, Katoomba, then back to Sydney.

Jon, I could send you details if you a going to do it.

Phil and Jon,
This is a great little journey.
Did it many years ago when Chris Mullet was doing tag-a-longs.
Yerranderie was a good place to overnight.
One challenging hand brake decent some where near Shooters Hill.
There's an interesting forest near Kanangra.
Worth doing again.
A bit of a rush in two days.
Over 600 Ks from my place if you go the way Google has shown it.
I feel sure there would be some short cuts.
We did it in three days last time.
Peter

Hello

Does anyone know where I can get VW Factory mag centre caps from in Australia? I am missing one and would like to replace it soon if possible.
