front end pivot bushes and balljoints

Will be geting front end work quoted on can anyone give me a rough
idear on price for similar work . Stering rack and tie rods seem ok but
upper and lower ball joints look r s . I dont think my local front end
repair shop has done too many syncros judging by the look on his face
when i asked him if he knew much about syncros . Took a look at the
ball joint and it looked like the big thread <pited and surface rust>
could cause the removal to get complicated . Bushes seem straight
foward but any info would be apricated . Has anyone used neoprene
replacement bushes ?
Cheers PETE
ps Removed rust creator behind top grill thanks 4 the tip
While you are in this area, some rubber bushings that will need
attention almost guaranteed is the bushings at the end of the radius
rod. This is the rod that sets up the Caster on the front wheels as
well as giving an annoying squeak as you brake and the front end
dips taht gets louder and louder, there are qty 2 per side . (Refer
Bentley manual page 40.26 for the picture. Special removal and
installation measurements are required so take care).
Regards
Rick.
