Fw: 15" All Terrain Tyres

  Hi Gerald,

Wonder how you got on with your 15" tyre stowage. If you haven't found anything suitable I came across the fitting I had on my front bull bar to take a spare wheel.
I principally used it when I bought the car in WA as it came with 6 x 14" and 6 x 16" wheels, which made quite a few to carry back across the Nullabor.  Didn't cause any airflow/overheating troubles but if I was mounting again on a bull bar I would set it slightly lower as it blocked a bit of near vision on the near side left. It basically had a steel disc welded on the bullbar drilled for 3 of the wheel bolts. When not carrying a spare it had a 70's VW emblem screwed on it for cosmetic purposes. The bulbar disc went with the car when I sold it but I forgot about the 3 bolt fitting and spacers in the photos above  which enabled a wheel to be bolted against it.
You are welcome to first call on it but perhaps you could advise on this register if you don't need it,  in which case anyone else is welcome to it (equally for free) on a first come first served basis pick up from Carlton North Victoria (Approx 4Km Nth of GPO). If I haven't explained things too well ring me o 0422024197.

Finally I also have located the video segments I thought I had lost of you and Tom in his canoe on the Howqua River. I got them in Dropbox but am having trouble understanding how to give a link so you and others can access them. If they are not posted by Sunday night would appreciate any advice on how best to make them available as they are quite substantial original downloads (around13mb total from memory)

I got the Bridgestone Destination 205/75/15 A/T on the car a couple of weeks ago. The spare sits in under the tray, so I don't need the bracket.

Hi, thanks to everyone who replied to my dilema of which tyres to get for my 15" Mefros.
And especially to Tom who let me borrow his spare wheel, for measuring etc. And also for letting me drive him to his local petshop so I could get an idea of the handling of his Syncro with BF Goodrich 15"s. I'm sure his dog was very happy with the food.
