Dear Les,
That's just what I was thinking with Bill/Muddy 3267's gearbox bearing query rolling in at 7.11am the other day. By 9am he had received 8 considered and helpful replies. It certainly gives the lie to that adversary recently who accused us of being on about nothing but waffle. (Hey that's my role!).
So Les its an appropriate time of the year to say thanks from all of us for all your efforts to keep the site informative, disciplined, useable and entertaining. I think its blossomed into a great community with world wide links. I've certainly thoroughly enjoyed heart warming good feelings from the generosity of people that the site has attracted. If you don't understand what I'm talking about get along to Bateman's Bay/Shallow crossing. Unfortunately its at a time when my sons are getting together in Tasmania  and I can't seem to syncronise both attractions.
Best wishes to you all out there. Andy and Mel hope you arrived home safely in WA after all your travels.
Happy Christmas and may your Syncros run sweetly in 2009.

PS Have a look at Mark & Brian's photo submissions for Larry Chase's 2009 (VW) Van & Bus Calendar.
might be tempted to submit some myself.

Hamish and all,

This was one of the fundamental purposes of creating this web group and this is an excellent example of it working at its best.  Occasionally, I get a bit tired of the work needed to keep everything running well but this sort of result always makes it worth while.
