FW: [Syncro_T3_Australia] Stranded in New England

Peter,
On a positive note, that's one procedure you can now cross off your "to do" list!

Thanks for the heads up though, I do carry a spare switch but as yet, still haven't done as Les suggests, pull the present switch to eyeball/TLC it.

Heh I can't wait haha.
Ken

Usually (not always) the switch gives you plenty of warning before it fails.
Harder to start. You have to turn the switch harder before the starter enguages or you have to jiggle your keys.

(I must buy a spare this week)

they're a pretty sealed little unit.
an inexpensive part. I am way big on servicing and lubing and 'psychic healing' of parts...
but the T3 ignition switch...'replace' is the repair on those, unless it's an absolute emergency and doing surgery on it is the only way you can keep moving.
