I've had a reply from the gas component suppliers ... there isn't a suitable 90 degree elbow adaptor. So back to the drawing board.
When I get a new hose, I'll see what's possible.
Drill two holes (out and in) through the back of the cupboard????  Bloody hell!!

Ken,

I had a good look and cant find the connection elbow.

Sounds like it wouldn't fit anyway.

Might be at my dads house in his locked garage and he is over in the US getting his new bus onto the ship to bring it back to Oz and wont be back till mid July.

Anyway, I am sure you will work something out - Harts idea seems to work.

Cheers,

Skot

Ken,
Don't know if this is of any help as I have a non Trakka conversion. The fixed cupboard by the sliding door houses a marine dual jet stove that is connected by a probably quarter inch pipe to the sealed externally entered housing on the off side of the van. At that point it converts to a flexible hose to connect with the gas bottles whereas at the stove end the quarter inch pipe runs up the back of the cupboard where it is sleeved inside steel pipe for protection , connecting with the stove with a right angle joint. The whole set up was certified by the WA authorities at the time of the original registration there.
I just wond if going small bore copper would allow you access to the fittings you need albeit that you have to go back to the flexible connection at the bottle end?
Good luck and don't test it with a match.

Roger,
Alas too late, thank you all the same for this terrific level of detail! I accept I had a problem, for me one ideally solved in accordance with the KISS principle. So I've already worked toward this today.
What I came up with was to shift inwards and tilt the connection at the rear of the cooker. Idea being this provides more distance, hence a gentler curve of the hose leaving the cooker rear panel.
Once the new hose arrives, I'll find out soon enough one way or t'other if this is an acceptable compromise solution to the elbow adaptor I'd hoped for.
A bonus while on the job was to remove and check/clean the three gas jets.
Cheers.
Ken
