Jon and outhers, sorry didn't work for me. At present in Qld moving #2 daughter. Done 692 k's sofar and all iz well bar the starter motor. Trying always to park on little incline. ....
Sometimes it works, sort of. Some of the armature solder connections must have failed..
Jon, will ce back to you when home again , w/e.

Shame about that other starter motor Hart.

That would have been very useful.

The truck still doing its job after all these years.

Thanks Scott and yes, it would have been so nice to instal one "as new".
But it wasn't to be and I moved on.
This truck is so useful even the moving people were stunned when I moved load after load...
We are almost done and our girl can start her new job next week (with Bayer). All good.

I fondly remember that starter deciding not to work when we were on the wharf in Dover about to drive onto a ferry on the way back to Hamburg from Busfest.
