Now this is a project Hartmut could really revel in ..... all that experience with the Nimbus would get him off to a flying start, not to mention it'd really tickle Elke no end.

It's even got the drivers side grab handle!

C'mon, it's got Hartmut written all over it!

Hi Scott,

This may be just what I have been looking for but I am in Sydney and getting it down here may be a hassle, is there a phone no. I can call you on to discuss?

Neil.

Gosh , Ken, it got a heated rear window  !! I should store it for that plus a  panic handle and (very important ) it got a switchable rear vision mirror ! Well equipped indeed, but NO got enough work ‘round the place and trying hard not to drown at present. Taken the cars to the servo on the highway and schleppt most of the natural paint stuff on to the mezza. We expect the river to peak over the embankment to say HELLO to us ! Further down they are evacuating. We are staying, well prepared.

Now this is a project Hartmut could really revel in ..... all that experience with the Nimbus would get him off to a flying start, not to mention it'd really tickle Elke no end.

It's even got the drivers side grab handle!

C'mon, it's got Hartmut written all over it!

Fellow nutters,

Another syncro panel van has emerged which is destined for the evil bay scrap heap. Its a Telstra Syncro with the usual finishes and is on the aussieveedubbers forum and listed for sale in Brisvegas.

Ben,

When I get all the bits I need I will be harassing you regularly to get all the details of how to put this together. Michael from Townsville seems to have the engine cradle I need - problem is getting it down to Terrigal NSW.

With the crashed car and Excess payment and new car purchase - a lot of my new donk funds are gone.

I will see what happens in the next tax period and hopefully get some more bits then.

Cheers,

Skot

I have only just found this info since I have been chasing a vibration at 110-115 ks.
I have made a laser alligning tool to help allign the two flanges.
You will also have to modify the bash bar again.
Better pull the finger out if your going to do this by Christmas!!Maybe better to wait till next year.
By the way excellent purchase with your new car.
Did you know there is now a 12 month wait on Polo GTI if you want one.Thats ridiculous.

Hart,

My sister in law is in outer Kempsey and she would be cut off for sure now but thankfully they are high enough not to be swimming. Hopefully we have some very low tides and the water gets dragged out to sea via the Hastings River and doesn't take you with it.

Fingers crossed you are all OK.

Cheers,

Thank you for your concern,  Scott, but no, we won’t be sswept to sea, too much to be accomplished yet. Unfortunately we have to face a kingtide  tonight, so after 9 tonight we know more. If you are interested in waters around your relos at Kempsey, look up  manly hydraulics for all the info you can wish for.

Yeah Hartmut, sounds a bit iffy from down here in Nirvana ... wishing you both well at this time and lets hope your pre planning works a treat.

Bit like having a second honeymoon that mezzanine floor eh. The long lounge should come in handy.

Cheers. Good luck.

Cheers,

Skot

Skot, remember also the VW engine sits 10 mm lower than the ej25.This is somthing that I overlooked and are correcting now.You have to space the moustach bar out 10mm from the body.
