Thanks Hart.

Thats all over facebook and I agree its funny.

Us VW lovers have to laugh at ourselves dont we!

By the way - Old Bar was sensational - hope you get better - your old Trakka camper was there in the camping area.

Cheers,

Skot

Hi Scott,

It was me in Hart's old van! I came past your site a few times but you didn't seem to be around.

Very impressed by my first Old Bar trip. What a fantastic weekend for all things VW. The trip back in the hot van yesterday wasn't so pleasant but Google Maps seemed to keep us out of the worst of traffic.

Catch up next time.

Cheers.

Jon.

Hi Jon,

Yes I went past your van a few times but you were around either.

We weren't allowed into the camping area on Saturday as we had our dog Max on day release from the kennels and couldn't take him back till after 4pm.

Sunday we were out on the oval with the kombi record event - 253 kombis - a new record!

It was a fantastic weekend with sensational weather - who would have thought that would happen on a long weekend?

All went well for us except the drive home when we got stuck on the F3 in 39.5 degree heat in a car park basically.

Managed to get off at Morisset after taking an hour from just past the Toronto exit (should take about 10 minutes) and then we quickly headed to the coast where it was a cool 30 degrees and down the coast roads to Terrigal - Im so glad I dont live in Sydney or beyond as that was terrible traffic!

We booked in again for next year - love it....maybe we will actually catch up?

Cheers,

Skot
