G13 Coolant

Hello I went to my local VW dealer to buy coolant today and was told G13 was all I could buy.

Does anyone know if this is correct? Thanks Greg

Just read the labels on two German sourced "G12 Plus" containers.

1. VAICO 60-0019 VA-12 Plus. Conforms to VAG G 12 A8F A1

It states "VAICO Coolant additive 60-0019 can be mixed with other products". Bit vague.

2. HEPU Maxxus-Plus. Comparable with G12PLUS. Conforms to VAG G 12 A8F A1

It states "Comparable to "G12 plus", (VW/Seat/Skoda/Audi) - can be mixed with G11 and G12". Clear as.

Interesting, given past/present statements on here that G11 AND G12PLUS are incompatible with G12.

So are these German coolant additive manufacturers telling fibs?

I've never heard anyone say that G12+ (or G12++) is not compatible with G12.

G12 is not compatible with G11.

I don't know about G10. (The green stuff that you had to change every 2 years)
