Garage clean out

Hi All,

My van is sold, please help look after the new owner Paul from Vic who recently posted.

Doing final garage clean out and listed a few things on ebay.  If no one bids after a while I will give away free, but would rather things didn't end up in landfill.

So a few links, some Tiguan rims, smoked taillights, various minor bits.  Also didn't list my broken old speedo if anyone wants it, it wasn't working well and the needle broke off was it's final demise.  Not sure if it has any repairable value or not.

Much prefer if people can pick up from Holsworthy NSW, but if you want to figure out posting and packing, and no one beat you to it... let me know.

Check other things I have for sale but I think that's the majority of it.

Thanks for the good times all, and might see you in a new van at some point.

Cheers, Sam

PS VCs rules, Solid shafts suck.  LOL  If only VW made the VCs so they were a bit more reliable, and tweaked a few other minor design flaws in the syncro :)
Hi Sam,
Paul and Sonia, yesterday, met up with Richard, myself, Tom, Peter and all our Syncro in Mt Evelyn.
A great afternoon kicking tyres and shooting the breeze.
Gerald.....on behalf of the "Melbourne Eastern Suburbs Syncro Appreciation Society".
Hi Sam,

I would like the dash tidy.

Can you post it to the Gold Coast?

Thanks

Hi Rowan, Gerald,

Gerald, great to hear :)

Rowan given the length I don't think Auspost will send it.  You're welcome to look at organizing a courier if you like, but I don't have much in the way of packaging, and it's just a plastic piece so could get broken if not well treated.  You might be better off buying new from a supplier getting it sent direct once the price of courier packaging etc is factored in. Let me know. Sam

Excusez-moi. Je ne comprends pas.

Please explain? Ta.

Bon voyages!
Ken

Hey Ken,

To explain my preference for VC is the added on-road safety of an AWD vehicle, particularly in wet weather conditions, and almost as good off-road performance, except for the most extreme off-roading.  I have a real preference for AWD vehicles in general, though unfortunately the Syncro VC AWD has the known issues around VC wearing out or failing, loading up the gearbox if not decoupled etc.

Other design flaws of the Syncro, well probably best not to try and list these, maybe we will just mention the pasting a water cooling system onto an air cooled engine design / vehicle as an example.  All this aside I am sad to no longer be an owner of a unique, capable and 'cult' vehicle.

Bon voyage Ken, enjoy those back roads.  Sam
