gowesty HR springs

Ahh yes bruce, You may recall I was waving to you at Red Hill Shopping center car park the other day in a brown Nissan pulsar. Sorry for the confusion I later forgot that I wasn't in my syncro.  Also I was in gordons (north rocky mechanical) workshop today picking up my syncro and noticed a half white/bottom half yellow syncro there getting some work done.  I also seen this van for sale some time ago on Gumtree.com way over in WA.  Another syncro to the CQ list or maybe just a traveller through town.  Bruce we will do a 5 rocks trip as soon as my new real locker actuator arrives.  Love auto electrics buggered it. .. . . ..

And yes Les my mate has joined I think, his names andrew harabasz. He just doesnt get on the internet very much.  His van originally came from NSW and the owner before him sourced twin lockers from germany fully rebuilt and shipped them here hence why its a dual locked telecom van.  You also may recall sometime ago I mentioned on the forum of doing a complete 2.1 change over.

I've also attached a few photos of our recent trip through blackdown table land.

I'm the one with the Blue Diesel. That fellow at Yeppoon had a maroon 2wd T3 and when I saw the Yellow syncro parked in his driveway I stopped and knocked on his door. At that time he didn't at all seem interested in the group or indeed that interested in other syncro owners at all. May have changed since then, that is a couple of years ago.

I stopped for a very quick chat with you one night about 9pm at the information centre, I wasn't in the syncro, we will have to catch up some time.

Hi Bruce.

Yes I live in rockhampton with my 89 rear locked syncro (currently with gordon at north rocky mechanical).  A friend of mine recently purchased a Dual Locked ex telstra window less panel syncro.  Are you the guy with the Blue diesel syncro? or the Yellow one always parked down Yepoon?

Hi Mate,

Just new at this,  kinda confused as to how the forum works and where to send info and questions.

Any way at random, can you help me? I have just purchased a 2.1 T3 Syncro and looking at lifting the van for more clearance.

Rims that may fit eg mags?  Can I do anything with the spare being in the back relocate to front or underside van? Springs blocks etc/

Thanks Brent

Bart,

No, Andrew Harabasz hasn’t joined, so keep on his clacker.

Thanks for the pics.  It’s always good to see Syncros in a bush environment.
