Handbrake Grommet

Hi Team 

Does anyone have the longish plastic grommet that guides the handbrake cable trough the rail under the body.
If it's worn there is a potential the the handbrake cable frays due to it rubbing on metal.

Perhaps as a starting point, enquire at your local VW dealership spare parts counter?

You may get lucky but I found it hard to find an online listing/source for this clip other than here:

Perhaps if there was enough interest, arrange a bulk purchase with interested Oz syncro members?

As well while your at it, consider a pair of genuine syncro handbrake cables (leftside/rightside combination ... they are NOT the same) here:
1 x pair - 251 609 701 D (LHS) and 1 x 251 609 702 (RHS)

I have family in Germany and can have it shipped there and forwarded.

Just visited  TriStar connection  a few days ago. Fantastic business. When you have send the goods to your parents though, they have to charge you the dreaded Mehrwertsteuer  of 19% ! By having it sent to you here in Oz you can avoid the tax.

I bought mine from -Günzel Classic Parts- a few years ago.

By the way, no tax exemption for car parts.
