Hardy Spicer Driveshaft

Gday Group,I picked up my new driveshaft today. It is a new balanced shaft with new flanges and yokes. The yoke's are 10mm bigger to accomadate larger and more common unis. There is now a slip yoke,I have done away with the dampner. The unis are grease for life and so is the slip yoke, but there is a grease nipple on the yoke.It is recomended to run the slip yoke at the front of vehicle. This is to limit dirt and dust in the yoke.Although it doesnt matter what way you run it.
I will chuck it in Monday.I am also getting into front outer cv joints on this day.Cant wait.
I should have the smoothest Syncro in Oz.
Check out my photos in the photo section.
Well done Ben.

Gotta get the beast ready for the Christmas Hat Head adventure!

Yes definitely.

I am trying to talk the boss into letting me stay at least 1 extra night @ Hartmuts place next to the river as well.

Should be fun if we don't get the monsoon like last year - I still haven't got the dirt off even after about 5 washes!!

Cheers,

Skot
