Harts Tristar and Syncro Anniversary

As you may know Hart has sent his Tristar to Germany for the Syncro 30 year anniversary in Berlin. I am going along as well to help with driving and enjoy the event. We are also going to drive to the UK for Busfest. I have started a blog and if you want to keep track of our adventure use the following link and then at the bottom there is a hotlink where you can get updates when I post a new entry. Hart leaves early August and I meet up with him in Berlin on 13 August. Paul Nevin is doing the same thing so will include him and his adventures as well if he wishes. Hope it all works and there are plenty of wifi hotspots about.
Cheers, Peter from Port

No Greg wasn't me. Could have been his daughter or niece. Who knows. I suspect he doesn't even know he has an account. He just uses emails and is an occasional Facebook user. So I offered to do a blog to keep all interested parties informed. Have made my first factual error so will be doing a correction soon.
Cheers, Peter

Hi Greg,
Don't even know that I do have an Instagram acc, news to me....now remember that a friend of mine, took some images of the TriStar and he talked about Instagram. This was at a time when I was even unable to send an e/m.
I'm already stretched to my limits to make comments on fb so I can't see myself getting entangled in another network.

Greg. I fly out of Port Macquarie on 12 August to Berlin. Hart leaves early August to Hamburg to pick up the Tristar and then drive down to Berlin. I will meet him there and there we travel together the rest of the adventure. Back home on 17 September.

Hi Hart,
Can I add my thanks for the efforts you have put in to take us along  on your Tristar's return to its roots. I'm sure you disciplined yourself to keep pumping this out for our benefit despite calls from your colleagues to join them in downing the schnapps. You seem to have got the balance about right if you've only had one hangover. Interesting vehicle (and couple) Willy and Erika. Did I notice  Factory 16" wheels on their Syncro? Is it actually a Factory 16 Vehicle? You seem to have had a great contingent from the Antipodes over there - if Dave and Penny from NZ are still in your party give them my regards - I haven't forgotten the pleasure they added to our last trip to NZ even though it was too many years ago. Also always good to have Paul along on an adventure.
The Zeppelin Museum photos were fascinating but they aren't solely confined to history since they worked out combining a smoking room and filling them with hydrogen do not make for a good Kombi. Lead Zeppelins and Led Zeppelin  are also firmly entrenched in the English and Rock vocabulary. My Mother also told me she remembers one of Dr Zeppelin's airships coming over where she lived in London during WW1 and she could clearly see some of the occupants throwing out things which were unfortunately not Christmas presents.
100 years on its great to see from your notes that Syncros have been a great conduit for bringing the people of many nations together. We all are wondering of course what has really gone on in the Syncros that stays in the Syncros!
Keep enjoying and sharing with us.
Thanks
Roger
