This seems to be coming through from the forum email system via Yahoo so hopefully others see it.
Where are you based?
The oil pressure lights and buzzers come from the two oil pressure switches - one near the front crank pulley/ water pump and one under the passenger side push rods. Either could fail or a wire may have melted through. See the brown wire in the photo on the front LHS of the engine.
Cheers,

Hi Skot.
Sorry, I can't log onto syncro forum as it says I don't have permission, so emailing straight to you which I hope works.
Oil pressure warning light & buzzer were randomly going off even though oil was at high mark on dipstick measured on level ground. Had relay switch replaced at mechanics last Wednesday for $350. Buzzing & light warnings happened again yesterday. Oil still full. Back at mechanics next Wednesday but it driving me nuts. Any suggestions for me and the mechanic please. Thanks Skot.
Cheers, Jim Roger.

Thanks Skott.
I broke 2 jk T2 drivers door window winder regulators in 2 weeks having to have the 3rd brazed to equal the original. That part was a mess yet my T2 door handle is good. Yes, will see how the quality is as you say. I really appreciate the offer of your German spare.
Thanks again
Cheers. Jim

I'm sure it will work.
If it fails you have a warranty implied for 12 months or I still have my original factory spare.

Hi Skot. Thank you. I am getting one from Justkampers Auburn as I really need it now. I think it will probably be junk, so would like to hear your op ed about quality please, as I guess yours would be quality German? Thanks again. Cheers Jim

Hi Jim,
My switch was from an 89 model too so it should be the same.
I will check it if I can find it my box of T3spare goodies.
Cheers,

Jim,
I have a spare headlight switch as I bought one thinking it might be my problem for my high beam issues.
Turns out it wasn't.
I can dig it up if you are keen. It has lost a lot of the white headlight decal ink but it works.
Cheers,
Skot

Hi Ken. Not sure if I replied to you, so I would like to say thank you for the help and info.
It was/is very much appreciated. Cheers. Jim.
Hi Jim,
A 750 CCA starting battery (DIN66) will fit and clearance under the drivers seat but only if the seat is raised because a captains chair metal swivel base is in place. Without a swivel base, then you need to stay with the usual DIN65 sized battery.Cheers.Ken

Hi Richard. Thanks so much for the very helpful reply. Was looking at 550CCA but I like the idea of a 750CCA starter battery. Loojing to get a deep cycle this time for the auxillary.
Thanks again. Cheers. Jim.

The battery that fits is spec DIN65L MF (picture below from page Ken linked to)
This one lists 750CCA, but 580-600CCA (rating for a starting battery) is typical for this size battery. Size is 278L/175W/175H and has the terminals below the top, and ridge at the bottom to clamp on as in the picture.
One thing I would recommend, this type of battery often comes with a plastic cover that sits over the +ve terminal. Well worth it when a metal cover sits over the top!!

I have the battery out of the Golf in the Syncro for a while with no issue, basically the same battery, just shorter, spec was DIN53L MF and 550CCA.
It's usually recommended to have a deep cycle battery for the house battery, but unless you drain it a long way regularly, I have not had issues using a starting battery in the past.
