Instrument cluster - gauges faulty

Hi ALL,
I'm presently experiencing after I start/run the engine, the fuel and temperature guages operate correctly for a while, say 10 minutes, then together they both drop to zero position and stay there.
Anyone know what components, perhaps on the back of the instrument cluster or fuse/relay box or somewhere else around the van that might be the culprit and I should check? TIA.
Cheers.
Ken
Voltage Stabiizer on the back of the instrument cluster comes to mind ..a very small part. I find bad ones every once  in a while.
also...loose nuts that secrure those gauges to the printed circuit - I've seen that.

did you try 'twacking'  on the top of the instrument cluster ?
My ancient   Volvo does that ..
every once in a while...gotta give it a firm twack on top of the instrument  cluster to wake things up.

same for any light that is out ..
about half the time a good thump or twack will make it work again.

Hi Scott,
Thanks for the lead.
Can you help with identifying the part please, maybe part number, where and what exactly I should be looking for, what it looks like, is it soldered on or a plugin, that sort of thing.

Might this be a part say someone like Van Cafe would stock?
Sorry, I'm no auto electrician. TIA.
Cheers.

Hi Scott and ALL,

My fuel and temp gauges are working correctly again, the fault was as Scott suggested, the plug-in voltage regulator (stabilizer) on the back of the instrument cluster. In the end, the simple fix was to replace it.
Supply sources I found for replacement part are ....

Thanks again Scott. Cheers.

Ken
