Is any one using LSD's

I have alway run a LSD in my bug in the past and have seen LSD's avalible for Syncro's.
Just wondering if any one is running them, and how do they find them on and off road?

Not to  my knowledge.  A Syncro fitted with a rear only diff lock is capable of getting just about anywhere that a person would reasonably want to go.  In the US, some Syncro owners drive in extreme conditions just to see what they can do but for the average owner who will use his Syncro on bush tracks and fire trails, they are quite OK as they are.  There is correspondence on the US sites on the matter of using LSD from time to time but I haven't seen anything that demonstrates a clear advantage over the standard Syncro configuration.

Michael.   I run a ZF LSD in a 2ltr box in my Baja works fine.  We have done approx. 83,000ks 50/ 50 tar & dirt.   Paul

Can you still get the diff locking system fitted if you have an LSD?

My first Syncro had diff locks, and the sticker (near the drivers right knee) that lists factory
fitted accessories and gear box codes etc, showed that the bus also had a LSD.

I never confirmed this however.
