Keeping in touch

Hi all

First of all thanks for your replies. Andy we should see you first
so to give you the heads up, we are east of Coolgardie at the
moment, planning to stay in Kalgoorlie for 4 to 5 days and then a
slow trip across the Nullarbor so arriving in South OZ somewhere
between 20th to 25th but we will give you a call a couple of days
out of Ceduna.

Les it will be no problems keeping in touch with you but don't
expect us too soon (have waited a long time for this so we will be
taking our time..).

Some info on us- Both Melissa and i are 29 turning 30 this year
(probably in South Oz somewhere )and have been planning the trip for
about 2 years. Melissa is from Vic and I am from Perth.
We have owned the syncro for about 18months. It is ex telecom and
all the conversions we have done ourselves.
To list some of the mods:
Interior camper conversion
Bullbar
Spotlights
Twin spare wheel holder
Roof rack
Rear Ladder
Long range fuel tank
stainless water tank
etc. etc.

We have gone away a few times in Perth with Ken and some of the
other local syncro guys, even with J+J when they were over here.

Already on our travels we have met a lovely lady in Albany driving a
syncro and directed her towards the group. Looking forward to
crossing paths with others.

Scott we are already getting stung for fuel in the south of WA but
thankfully the extra tank lets us stretch our km's a little so we
try not to purchase in the expensive towns!! Thanks for the heads up
though!

Till next time
A+M
Andrew and Melissa,

Great to hear from you. You've certainly done the necessary things
to your van. If you have the opportunity to dawdle along, there is
no better way to tour. I have done that in the past and loved it.
You find a remote river bank and stay there the night or four days
or whatever takes your fancy.

The only reason that I ask you to stay in touch is so that we can
set up contacts for you as you travel.

I didn't dealize that you had met J+J when they were in Perth. Come
to think of it, I haven't heard from them for some weeks. (Hey,J+J,
let's hear from you!)

I look forward to meeting you whenever you get here.

And happy birthday to both of you when the day/s arrive.

There are so few women Syncro owners, I do hope that the Albany lady
gets in touch. It would be great to have her on the ASustralian
list.

Les
