Mefro rims

Hi all,

Found this pic of a Syncro with Mefro rims, in case anybody would like a better idea of what they will look like installed. Your campervan could look this beautiful too...

Francesca.

Looks great, just the no nonsense look I like.

Which is one of the reasons why I had a set of steel 15” wheels built locally some years ago.

Obviously the photo didn't come through for you for some reason, Phil. Sorry about that. I might be able to post a link if you'd like a look.

The beautiful pic of a Joker which Francesca send us !  The rims look great and I take it that they are painted ?  just make double sure, ‘cause Merc rims are undercoated only  and mine showed a bit of rust after 3 yrs in use and cost me  $ 100 each to repaint/tyre on-off / and rebalance.

The post from Les had the photobucket link.

Thanks.

They look like the genuine 14" rims, or my bespoke 15s.

Thanks, Hartmut. According to their website they are powder coated 'offering excellent corrosion protection'.

Nice look Francesca. I think I will get some and leave the hassles of getting alloys behind!!! Interested on the issue Hart raised re paint.

Many thanks for your efforts on these wheels.

Regards, Peter from Port

Hart's repaint cost as much as the Mefro wheels!

Regards, Phill wish I was in Port

Sorry to have to tell you PL but it was 27 degrees one day last week!!!

It's been horrible in Sydney. Probably the coldest, longest winter I have experienced. I have been lucky as every time Sydney has had a cold winter, we have been in Europe.

Phill,  have you got your new abode yet? If yes, where is it located  ? I like to check it out if it’s good enough to park your Blue Beauti there.   Seize the (cold) day!  Hartmut

Hart,

We've had a unit at the corner of Cross & Home St for about ten years now. Need to check out if the syncro fits in the garage though. It looks close.
