…splashed out on a pair of Bevinsee V45 H3 120W LED bulbs for my high beam spots and wow, what a difference!
Way easier/cheaper than a LED bar, and I’d put a pair of their H11 bulbs on my bike and the high beam now literally fries owls and bats. Very recommended!

Hi Gaetan,
Do you have a link to the setup you used?
We they difficult to install?
Thanks,
Scott
Hey Scott,
Here you go: BEVINSEE V45 H3 120W LED Headlights Bulbs 22000LM Bright White Fog Light DRL Kit | eBay
Super easy to put them in, and completely reversible. Just unscrew the rear caps, remove and unplug the old H3 bulbs, then the harness wires just plug into the new ones’ wiring. The LEDs screw right in - only mod was slightly filing the lower cutout (of the bulb) so they sit nice and straight.
I cable tied the power boxes to one side.
The only possible question is how to waterproof the new assy as obviously the old caps don’t fit anymore, I’m thinking maybe a layer of soft silicone on the bulb base but not sure how that goes with heat.
For now I’ve left them open at the back, will see how it behaves in heavy rains.
Drove it in the bush at night and OMG this is properly bright
Cheers

Sounds great Gaetan.
I will have a look into it.
Certainly looks like a great upgrade.
I’ve not really looked much into these replacements, but I have seen some that have a heat sink on the back instead of the fan. One less thing to fail.
No idea if these are any good, just an example

Those also look great but they are mighty expensive!
Interesting but expensive indeed! I’m happy with my $50/pair upgrade, so, so bright and if they fail it’s only $50…
240W of LEDs on full beam looks like daylight in front of me! It’s just highlighted the fact I really need to adjust them so they point exactly where they should…
