Mystery Object

I havent posted a photo to a post so not sure if this will come through.


Hello all I am about to reinstall my dash and have noticed this mystery object on the floor under the dash.

Can someone help me identify this object not sure if its a syncro part or maybe off a kids toy.

Your help would be appreciated. Greg

Hi Phil

Its a Trakka

It could have started life as a Caravalle but is not badged as such so I doubt it.

There is no part # on the mystery object

yes..
the 2nd picture makes it clear what it is.
Look at the top of your brake fluid resevoir.
That part belongs on top of the cap ..it holds part of the level switch in the cap.

is this a quiz ? Do I win something ?

Well done Scott Turbovans you are 100% correct! The mystery object has now been reinstalled to its correct place.

To collect your mystery prize you just call in person next time you pass by Bunbury WA and it will be waiting with your name on it.

I do appreciate yours and everyone's input on this forum. It makes ownership of these rare and interesting vehicles possible for a non mechanical person to own one.
