The annual VW Nationals Show is on again in a fortnights time on Sunday 28th May 2017 in Sydney at Fairfield Showground, Prairiewood, location is here:

Show is organised by ClubVW Sydney, see here:

Are you planning to attend the Nationals this year in your syncro? Prefer early entry into the show? Hate the mad rush to get there on Sunday morning and sick of arriving late because you have so far to drive? Then to fix all that, you're invited to join in with other interested members, the following:

An overnight free camp at Fairfield Showground, ideally arriving there late afternoon before dusk on Saturday.
Participation offers an overnight relaxed pre-show group conviviality & chit chat and simpler entry into the show.

At this stage, I'm seeking members expressions of interest, and if so, then we can commit to planning.

Either contact me here in the first instance or else to me directly at unclekenz@hotmail.com

All respondents will receive further details and answers to your queries in due course in your email box.

Hi Ken,

 

We finally got our Syncro back from the Subaru engine conversion. In the mean time, I got knocked off my push bike and ended up in emergency - so it took a bit longer.

I would like to take it for a test run. The VW Nationals sound a good excuse. On the way back, we can catch up with Gerald & Robyn.

We now live north of Brisbane, in Redcliffe.

The free camp at the Fairfield Showground has facilities?  I need a WC at the ready.

Looking forward to met up with Syncronauts we haven’t met before.
