New Syncro now home in Adelaide

Here it is folks, my new syncro - after a 10+ year break!

I have posted some pictures under Bruce M pics.

Managed to get appropriate personalised plates.

As it stands it's  got P/S & rear difflock that works. I think it's a Gold Pak with Stratos front seats, 2x50L water tanks for hot & cold etc, etc. Needs some cleaning & restoration & a tune. Its already had new brakes, steering rack, front balljoints, shocks, muffler, etc. in the last 8k km. A good start. future plans include 7x16 wheels & 225/75R16 Cooper AT3 tyres, EJ25, transmission rebuild, big brake kit etc.

Front bullbar is alloy and only 16kg (I've weighed it!) so I'll be keeping it for now.

Note the rear bar with storage boxes. I will be wanting to dispose of these for various reasons. So if any members are interested in them, let me know.

The pic of the Merc alloy wheel is designated 65337, 7Jx16 ET31. I miss out on a set on Carshine by only a day or so. Anyone seen these on a Syncro?

Les, Any chance of getting a copy of the Trakka wiring diagram you offered a while ago?

Cheers,

Bruce.

Bruce,

Will send it to you direct with some accompanying notes.

Les

Bruce,

Just did a search to bring up the Trakka material that I have in various locations – and got a bit of a surprise to see how much I actually had!!

I will sort through it and get it off later today.

Of interest to all, I found that I had a copy of the Volkswagen Australia brochure for the Trakka conversions, which could be ordered on a new vehicle and carried a Volkswagen guarantee.

Les
