Cut and pasted this from  a U.S. site  which may have interest as Nissan Pathfinders were marketed here. The same forum said the Kia 4WD rear wheel carrier also fitted a syncro/T3 with relatively little modification.

Thanks Roger that is great, i've often looked at those Pathfinder racks and wondered. I cycle past one most mornings, the brackets always looked to be at the wrong angle.

Roger,thanks a million for the link. That pathfinder wheel carrier looks like a terrific fit even if the brackets are not perfect it'd be and easy and cheaper fit than OEM. Might have to pay a wrecker a visit
