We were only thinking of you the other day when we saw Kempsey going under water.
That Hastings river must look like a sewer at the moment.
Keep up the swimming lessons!
Catch ya soon .

Thanks so much Bill, very much appreciated , but I Think that I can manage. Elke had to fly out to NZ today to finalise the sale of our home there and I expect her back in 3 weeks. It looks pretty grim but is manageable I think. Mainly cleaning up and going to the tip with rubbish of all sorts. The block is full of it. Tip fees have been suspended for 3 weeks so its clean up time !!!!!Our trip to Tassi was great pity I had to cut it short, Paul Nevan decided to come with me for which I am very great full . One never knows when our vehicles call it quits and leave us in the lurk..... However sofar so good , no mishap , all went well. As I missed out seeing the Westcoast, we have to do it again. My only problem was the roof top tent which takes toooo long to fold down. And on the roof it is miles too high so I had to put it onto the tray but lost space for my stuff.. Have to look at a proper canopy , maybe from AMA in Qld. Saw one at some campground.
Anyway, thanks again, regards to Marg, please do call in when passing ! HartPS we are at Bothwell and board ship tomorrow 9pm arriving Melb. Satday 6am. than straight for home, see how far I come. Ha.

Bill and Scott and those that know Hart’s property. Ann and I spent the day on Monday helping Elke get rid of the mud in the shed. About 2 cm left and some of it had dried. Hose and big squeegee from Bunnings did the trick. Rest of the place OK as it is higher. Lot of rubbish around the property as the river came up through the nearby boat ramp and rushed through the property. Few logs left behind. The river did not come over the bank opposite the shed but rather from behind and from the side. It was sure a big flow though. Hart will be on that tractor when he gets home but it will be some time before he can get onto the grassed areas. We used a Gerni gun on the concrete slab outside the workshop, Cant have the Syncro maintenance area unavailable. Will give Hart a hand on Monday and hear all about the Tassie trip.

This is probably why Council wont let him build anything elaborate.
Yet a Queenslander style house would be perfect.
Need to raise that levy bank!
Glad everything was OK and salvageable.
Imagine how well the grass will grow now once the debris is removed - all that muck will make excellent grass food.
Catch up with you soon.
Cheers,
Skot

That could be your next addition - a pontoon hanging off the side of the shed with a house on it.
Council would have to pass that!
