Roger,
Cape Tour eh ... so then Roger, I take it the challenge is
....... I
take the old dirt road and rickety creek crossings to the cape in my 2WD
syncro and you cruise the newfangled 4 lane highway with working VC and
difflocks and I say there's a bloody good chance I'll still get there
first ..... hhmmmmmm ........ fair enough ...
Now convert that into a positive ............ ..

to try to convert it into a positive. Feel we might be towing the Kombis
out of trouble but its nearly 40years since I went only as
far as
Cooktown and I gather even a chap who operates his syncro only in 2wd
would have no trouble now!

Please respond asap.

I feel then is for those going to secure a booking asap at the adjacent
caravan park, which is also handy to the beach. I'm thinking arriving
Friday and leaving Monday.

people on a powered site ... It'd be nice to "corral" the syncros in the
park but the danger is the sites are probably filling fast.

with a $5 note would be possible eh ......
