Hi all.
I recently made the "mistake" of lightly sanding down a singular patch
of rear panel blind side drivers rear as there was overspray showing..
My idea was to remove the bodgy paint job and hopefully sand with some
1500wet.dry and then buff back up to original colour. White.
Now it turns out that the bodgy respray " to cover some scratches" is
well a decent half assed job of a real respray.
I ask why would anyone fill chips and scratches with high fill spray
putty(yellow) original size of scratch maybe a 3mm x gnats hair deep
but high fill is about 3inch in diameter.... Paint to cover is now
about 5-8mm thick in places...
Now because i started one panel, u guessed it i may as well do the lot
and make for a proper respray. Shit....
Oh i am now using 400-600 wetndry.
If u r out there Rohan thanks " to cover some scratches "
Couldve just said what was what....
Andrew
