Give REPCO a go I got a new one for my TDI from them. They quoted a price + freight from Germany. Miles cheaper than VW or Bosch here.

I've tried the guys at VW Diesel and Diesel VW who have US websites but still waiting for confirmation if the part number is correct. Also tried VW parts place.

Need a rebuilt one rather than one from a wrecker.

price wise ..
price per se is not important to me ( within reason of course )
service and quality are what are most important to me.

I can recommend Van Cafe for sure in that regard.
they know me - Scott/Turbovans.

ask for the Aussie discount.

Thanks Greg yes found that guy already, his prices are good, he just didn't have the part number i needed. I've now got a second pump on its way from the UK. First one had the LDA missing which costs as much as a new pump. What a saga.
