Here my pictures of the 2009 syncro meeting in Germany

Do you know the history of the (apparently) race prepared LT?

Hi Andy,

 

this Rallye LT 4x4 was built for the Paris Dakar Rallye in 1988. Peter Seikel and Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge modified it for the Paris Dakar, but they didn’t win in 1988. After changing some technical details they won the Rallye Tunisie in 1988 in the truck class.  

 

Some technical details:

 

- 2,4l diesel 6 Cylinder engine

- 120HP

- 3 seats

- max speed 115km/h

- roll cage

- protection for the axles and brake pipes

- reinforced chassis
