Poptop Camper NSW Compreh.Insurance Policy Recommendations

Hello to All, and especially Les.  Thanks again.  I'm looking for suggestions for an insurance company offering a decent comprehensive insurance policy and follow-up service for my 1989 Syncro poptop camper with NSW rego please.  I have spoken to different company/s individuals and the ones I have tried won't insure it.
Cheers,  Jim.  Sydney.

Hi Jim,

I have basically the same vehicle and I am comprehensively insured with CIL Insurance or Caravan Insurance Limited.

They seem fine and I get salvage rights to the vehicle if it is written off.

Cheers,

Skot

I have all my cars with Shannons.
Have had for years.
Contact them and have a look at their conditions.
Have had a couple of claims where someone has run into one of them, and they were great with claims.
They don’t object if I send my damages to my panel beater.
I don’t go anywhere else, even competitive with Green Slips.
Hope this helps.

I asked Shannons as I had a 71 deluxe kombi also with them but they refused as they didn't insure "campers".

Hence I went to CIL Insurance.

They were easy to deal with and a great deal.

Skot

I also got (I think) a good deal from CIL, had to send photos including showing I had a sink, and a certificate from an electrician for my 240v.

:) Sam
I dont have a sink in mine and I didn't need a certificate from an electrician -my vehicle is 12V only.

So dont be scared of those.

Cheers,

Skot
