Power steering loose hose

Hi guys.
I love how this car communicates. Very subtley. I replaced the lower ball joints, which took away the thump over bumps. I noticed the upper ball joint rubbers had slight cracks so I ordered two to replace them. Put the first one in and it swam in the hole. Faulty. No worries. Let the supplier know and they sent another. When putting it back together by pushing the bearing housing up, it wouldn’t go! The circlip had come off the inner cv. Now there’s a job. Getting that out. But got it done. Not much wear in the cv so pleased with that. Then i noticed the rhs power steering boot is torn. It was only replaced about two years or so ago. Oh well. Two came in the kit so ready to go. But hang on. What’s this house hanging off? Pics attached. I think it is a breather so it should just push in yeah?
Also, can someone tell me with certainty what i will find next?
Currently getting it through engineering so that I can pay lots of NSW taxes.

Apparently that hose is the breather hose that runs between the two ends of the power rack section.

They just pull out and push in - maybe yours is damaged?

Thanks Scott. Giving it a clean and a push.

Pushed in ok.
I’ll check it next time I go for a run.
