Hi All,

We wrapped up our weekend at Knorrit Flat camp ground which is just 20 mins drive north west of Wingham.

What an awesome weekend.

We did lots of dirt tracks of which quite a few got extremely rough and totally overgrown - A few scratches needed polishing out when I got home this arvo.

We did Dingo Tops, Potoroo Falls, Ellenborough Falls and then this amazing top of the world lookout where you could see 360 degrees from the viewing platform they use for checking for fires.

Awesome fun and lots of nightly camp-fire (Outback Television) warmth.

Some of the punters are still out travelling the dirt tracks heading north.

Here are a few photos:

Thanks for the spinning dreams Ken.

Our spot seems good enough and the $45 for how showers and flushing dunnies for a long weekend seems good enough for me.

Its coming up fast now - lots of adds for the Easter Show and we are heading off before that (tried to avoid that weekend to avoid the crazy traffic an crowds).

Dont forget to study those maps - work has me sidetracked at the moment...

Cheers,

Scott

Wonderful pictures Scott. Looks like you had a great time. Some nice scenery along the drive also!
We had a great week end away up near Harvey Bay.
Richard
Yes a great weekend all round.

Thanks to Ken for all the tour guidance!

Glad you had fun too Richard although it looks like you are camping in your back yard :-)

Cheers,

Scott

Hi Scott, I created  a Yahoo account for Hartmut so he can look at the pics you posted. However when I get in there the site comes back telling me it's a closed group of 236 members or so and he can not have access....
What am I doing wrong here?? How can he see those pics?
Elke

Hi Elke,

I think you have to go into the website and go into your account settings - Click on "Membership" - that should show you what allowances you have.

Under "Navigation Preferences" you should see "Photos:" - that should be "Photostream"

You can click on the little pen icon to change the settings.

Let me know if that doesnt work.

Cheers,

Scott

Hi guys, when I joined the group, the moderator of the group first needed to accept me. Perhaps because I am from South Africa :-)

Hi Piet,

Acceptance is not a country related thing it is to keep out scammers where possible.

We all had to be accepted at some stage when Les (the founder of the group) joined us up.

Cheers,

Scott

All good Hart.

Have you been able to see photos previously?

You could always click on the link near the bottom which is "VISIT THIS GROUP".

Then you can just go to the photos section and they will all be there.

Cheers,

Scott

Some more pics.

Hi Theo,
Looks tranquil enough!

Even more remote further north from there is NPWS free accommodation at Daisy Plains huts in Carrai locality.

I seem to recall Christine took a group photo of us somewhere else and we asked could it be shared to us please. Ta.
Attached here are a couple from me.
Cheers.

Awesome group shots Ken.

We really got a great circle going around that camp-fire.

Time for some research for the next location...
