re: NSW /Sydney Syncro Meetings

All,
Some dates for the diary & comments to work around when planning a syncro meet/s in 2010. I'll stand corrected if I'm in error.
 
John Figgis is presently unavailable for comment.
Graham Adams may soon be unavailable for comment.
Hartmut is busy moving soon and so distracted carting rubble/family heirlooms again in the Tristar till say end of April.
Bob Dale is unavailable in April.
Scotts kids have birthdays every weekend so he's perpetually under the thumb.
What availability everyone else has, I have no idea. Anyone?
VW 2010 Nationals in Sydney 23/05/2010. I bet the organisers have absolutely no idea the syncro celebrates 25 years this year.
Sackville meet last year was held the weekend before the Nationals.
So leaving a meet till after April, probably there is no need to pay/pre-book anywhere, its moving toward the chillier time of year .. low season, even more so out of school holidays. Also means if the weather turns foul on the selected weekend, easier to cancel and re-schedule.

A reminder that after the successful May 2009 Sackville weekend magfest at my rellos place, I also reconnoitered and then offered to lead a syncro 4WD tagalong/2 night camping tour to Yengo National Park for last September. Only one member put his hand up, including none from Sydney. Interesting. A bad year perhaps? I guess it could be an option again at some future time when the stars line up for NSW /Sydney members. Or perhaps they can only manage a day outing, especially for working families.

Keen to meet. Maybe weeked or two before Nationals is a very good idea.

More local to Sydney the better, but happy to go up north (Glooucester etc) as many Syncro participants are in the Northern parts of Sydney and North Coast.

Last weekend we had 3 birthday parties one Friday arvo, then Saturday morning/ arvo/ then nippers Sunday morning then another kids party on Sunday afternoon.
 
Ahh the joys of young kids!
 
Easter is in early April this year which has the school holidays in it I think. We are required up in Kempsey for my new niece viewing at that time. May sounds possible.
