Re: [Syncro_T3_Australia] Tasmanian Trip

Whilst musing on how we could get our Syncros from the mainland to Tasmania as cheaply as possible I went to U Tube for inspiration from those with whom I share a common birth heritage.
The following seems to offer possibilities although personally I get a tad nervous once the surrounding water gets up to the interior mirror. (Not strictly syncro so don't waste your megabytes if running short)

Are you sure you would want a person carrying similar DNA in charge?
Cheers
Roger

Dear Les,
Yes of course, my 2 brain cell memory had indexed her under T2 instead of T3. When down in Tassie earlier this year I gave her the A3 picture that you laminated for the 2008 Day of the VW expo of her (in the hammock) and Neil alongside their T2 almost at Cape York.  I think it might be up in her office but she was certainly pleased to receive it.
Cheers
Roger

Roger,

We do have a Tasmanian member - Heidi Smith, who was on the K2K trip with her brother in his amazing T2.

Dear Francesca,
I'm also mulling over Ken's suggestion that we try to organise a group trip there for the future because unless we have a resident Tasmanian on the register, I'm feeling some obligation to perhaps take the initiative.
I may have recounted an earlier experience there when another of my sons who had borrowed my syncro was chased down the road by a German tourist. When my son stopped he said "please please where can I hire such a proper campervan instead of this Toyota  s**t   that they hire me".
Cheers
Roger
