Hi Hartmut,
Sorry to hear of it and yes I agree, suggest $20 or higher donation, as individuals think appropriate. In fact under such circumstances its an opportunity for members to "give back" a little of what it assuredly has cost to manage this forum over the past 10 years for the benefit of the Oz syncro community. It isn't without precedent, I know within the US syncro community, members do when the occasion arises where a worthy member has suffered a misfortune be it family medical or syncro/vanagon vehicle accident, funds are gathered to assist.
Perhaps someone here has a better suggestion as to how to arrange the collection of members pledges for transfer to Les's financial institution account or else individuals send pledges direct to his account. Any better ideas? Any accountants here know how to best go about this?
Cheers.
Ken

Thanks Greg, yes you are correct , life's too plimmen short to worry about a few $$
On another topic, I visited Les some time ago and found him in not too good health and in general very short of finances. Am thinking if it would be possible to charge say $20 or whatever as a yearly contribution to be invited onto that beautiful Syncro knowledge group. What do you think?
