Ken et al

I have spoken with the owner of the $28K vehicle that was purchased
from new. I know the mechanic who has serviced it for the last 10
years. It includes both Annexes and is a Trakka Gold Pack.

I have also spoken with the owner of the Trakka that is now located at
Alan Grahams at Gosford. 2 owners in total. Was stored for a few
years. Ken - as it is close to you, have you looked at this vehicle?
It has low miles.

Hi Ken,

I was thinking of taking a look at it if I get over that way, which we
will be a bit closer tomorrow (sat) as we'll be at the north side of
the city.... just for interests' sake.

I don't know if Max would agree that he is too young to own a Syncro -
he loves riding in the Syncro - never fails to send him to sleep.

I'm sure we are all at peace when in our Syncros!

Seems to be a few Syncros 4 sale at the moment, even one in a car yard in Nowra.
See photo below.
 
 
I made the guy an offer for it, and he took it, so now I have two.
It is a 3/92 model, ex Telstra of cause, has a great body original paint, no rust
and a glove box full of recipts for work done in the last 3 years.
 
I will now be selling my '90 model,
Body has a couple of dents, and needs a paint job but no rust, mechanically it is great, I have just had
the gearbox fully rebuilt, fitted it last weekend, new clutch, engine is good, has AMC
heads and has just had a full service, 80% tread on tyres. no rego.
I would like to get around $5,000 for it. may go on Ebay in the next few days.

at the recent postings for sale, and all of them did.

They are all after-market.  Some came with pop top camping conversions, notably the Trakka, while others were from dedicated off-road after-market manufacturers and suppliers.  The attached pic is my Syncro with the Trakka conversion.  The half inch mesh filling the apertures was standard.

That's pretty, thanks! I like the Trakka a lot, particularly the
roofline. More compact than the Westy.

I thought about importing one, then remembered the controls are all on
the "passenger's" side. I'd probably try to drive it on the left side of
the road!

1 is a telecom panelvan good gearbox body fair was my daily driver brakes needed work so i parked it about 5 years ago coolant is gone so leaking  out somewhere? clutch peddle locked from sitting would start i think  want 4 for it

2 is a yellow trakka rust but repairable not driven on road but did drive it around the paddock a few years back and want 6 for it

3 is a dual diff lock sth african micro bus blue and white rust one owner dj motor did run a few years back around the padock

blue and white 8 for it

All three are repairable will try for some pics today

Way too cheap but thought they were forum price and a mate took some photos and put them on fb phone went off could have sold hundreds
