Gday Ralph,
Ok good stuff .... does look to be quite doable then eh.
Just a couple of points then please.
To further clarify the power supply for the digital clock then. Is there
or is there not a 1 or 2 wire power lead coming from the blue printed
circuit and the lead has a plug on its end to connect onto the clock? If
so, does this form an integral part of the cluster wiring so it should
be there in place anyway? Or if not, it must then be part of the
vanagons wiring harness, in which case I need to have supplied that same
end of lead plug to connect the clock. Sorry, still confused on that
bit.
As far as the OXO advisory light goes, I believe we don't have the
necessary device that the OXO light is connected to ... its on US
vanagons but not Oz syncros. It's to do with periodic warning for oxy
sensor replacement. Our Oz syncros are far more sophisticated than that.
We wait till they start gasping and belching etc., then we replace the
oxy sensor.
There still is a demand for US mph speedos on ebay, so when you remove
it, flog it off on ebay back to the states.
Cheers and thanks Ralph. Too bad it's a bit too hard ferrying our
syncros across the ditch to visit you guys eh.
Ken
