Hello, do members put rubber grease on the ends of the coolant hoses when replacing them, is this the way to go or does it just make them easier to come off when you dont want them to? Greg

I use rubber grease on occasion. But in coolant hoses, my gut feeling is generally the latter, with the exception where you have a real difficulty (very tight).
Tried using coolant mix first? It's slippery.
