Hope you all have a great time, enjoying yourselves. It 00.34 am here and I have the "pleasure" to experience the , BY FAR, worst ever rainstorm nature can come up with.
I normally love wild weather, always have, but this has frightend me.

I hope all is OK by light of day, and you're not in for flooding. It's a funny old summer!

Thank you Francesca, All is ok apart from one of my beautiful palms... yes you are right it's a funny old summer, but maybe it's more than that... our planet is deeply troubled and the crisis is real and upon us, I do hope that we can follow  the vision and energy it will take to change direction and to follow a new path....Where ever we live, we have to be prepared for events which don't fit our concept. Last night's curtain riser has left me deeply in thought especially as we do live next (50m) from the shore of a mighty river.
I moved the Syncro's to higher ground days ago and I am not bringing them back in a hurry......    Carpe Diem   Hartmut

Hart,

I hope the veggie patch is OK and your collection of syncros.

Maybe you need to build a big hill with that tractor of yours and put the syncros and house up there!

Keep dry as best you can.

Hart,

Build one of those old Queenslander type homes up on poles. Then put an elevated garage next to it that can house at least 3 syncros.

They seemed to be the only ones up above the floodwaters in QLD.

Well observed Skot, Why did they stop building  Queenslanders ?? Don't look funky enough.  Adjusted the timing and new plugs for the TRAKKA still not running 100% so we got the WD 40 out and sprayed onto the injectors where they srew into the cylinder heads . This way you can check the O-Rings because if they are worn ,old or brittle , the WD 40 will prevent air being sucked into the combustion chamber. In my case it showed at no 4 cylinder, with the spray on she runs beautifully smooth.... Try it some time, it works.

Good luck with yours.

Funnily enough - I did a wedding transport in my 71 deluxe bay last weekend for a couple of Lesbians and the groomette's father lived in Cairns. He told me that they knocked loads of Queenslanders down and re-subdivided estates where they built a heap of low-set "modern type" houses.

All of which were promptly drowned in the floods.

They failed to see the reason why they built the Queenslander style houses up so high in the first place.

Still waiting on my parts for my syncro but hopefully we have the answer shortly!

Good luck with sorting yours out.

How did the hippie syncro go with the storm?

Hart,

I hope the veggie patch is OK and your collection of syncros.

Maybe you need to build a big hill with that tractor of yours and put the syncros and house up there!

Keep dry as best you can.

Cheers,

Skot

I hope all is OK by light of day, and you're not in for flooding. It's a funny old summer!

Anyway, there is always next time.

Hope everyone enjoyed themselves.
