I have a T4 conversion on mine which works well, importantly the hand brake is good as the setup comes from a similar vehicle. You need to know where his calipers are sourced from as some of the car calipers are not the best handbrake wise. Another solution is to get some brakes installed on your trailer, it can make a big difference. May be a cheaper solution as no engineering plate involved.
The rear brakes on these things are not bad if in good condition. You’re better off spending your money on vented fronts.
Agree the T4 conversion is great compared to the Sherman version.
My mates mechanic Andy Ho is getting the bracket conversion which he is getting sets made up - not sure on cost yet - I will find out.
