Shift Guide repair kit

I recieved my Shift guide repair kit today from t3technique in the States.
I made the order on th 19th of September, came in an envelope, with very detailed fitting instructions.
Will fit them in November.

Ben C,

I'm very interested in this as both Graham and Ken have said my shifter is too sloppy.

To me though it feels like a sports car compared to my 71 kombi. In the 71 it is difficult to tell whether you are in gear or neutral as they feel the same. The only way to tell is to let the clutch out slowly.

Our dollar has gone pear shaped again so its all going to cost more now.

Cheers,

Skot

Old Bar was great on Friday and Saturday - but Sunday was a total loss.

I struggled to get on and then off the field on Sunday morning and I got drenched pulling down my tent and other gear in the pouring rain and howling wind. I hear Paul had some fun doing donuts on the oval in his beastly syncro. I was too busy trying to get off there without getting stuck.

The plane crash was interesting and a friend of mine with a splitty managed to change his clutch about 2kms shy of Buladelah on the way up on the side of the road. Thats right engine out, new clutch then engine back in with 1.5hrs - totally amazing. Took him another half an hour to filthy up the wash basin in the freshly cleaned servo toilet @ Buladelah. Who would take an new clutch and a trolley jack with them on a holiday?

A good weekend - not a great one.

No damage to anything apart from a hub cap on the 71 that parted company somewhere near Old Bar and a few stone chips on the 71's bumper. The new radiator and the coolant pipes on the syncro work great. No more temperature issues and leaking coolant. Even the radiator fan is quieter Mel said.

Cheers,

Skot
