Slightly Urgent - old man emu rear shocks

Hi Guys,

Rego is due very shortly and I've been told rear shocks are in order.

As much as I wanted to maybe hold out for the longer trailmaster shocks, I don't think I will be able to get these easily or quickly in Sydney, so can someone help me with tracking down the old man emu rear shocks?

I called ARB in Penrith and they said they would need a part number - can someone help with this?

Thanks guys, Sam
Sam,

OME shocks are model N37 for the rears and N38S for the fronts. These suit stock standard syncro springs, but not longer springs.

When I bought my OME shocks, ARB had them listed. Didn't Penrith check their listing

I believe on occasion, they can be temporarily out of stock.

Cheers.

Ken

Try ARB Moorebank, that is the head office for Sydney.

T25 Syncros are not listed in their normal catalogue. They have to call Moorebank.
Phill and all, when I purchased my ome shocks from Moorebank, they first told me there was no listing for the vehicle, they then found it and they were out of stock. They also told me they were not making these shocks anymore.
After a bit of head scratching, someone found them out the back.
You need to go in there and quote the part numbers and tell them that they do make and stock them.
If it isnt a Prado or Pajero or something there not that interested.

On another note,I have a customer who works at ARB,when I asked him if they had seen the Amarok,he told me they had one come in the other day. When I asked him what did they do to the vehicle,he told me that they turned it away,as they didnt have the correct torx socket for the job.

Thanks Everyone,

I did try calling a few different ARB stockists, who were telling me it wasn't listed until I gave them the specific part number. Then I was told it's no longer made and they are trying find if an equivalent is now made. Then they called me back, told me they had found some, that there are none in Sydney, and they will have to order in from Victoria taking one and a half to two weeks.

If you are in a hurry, try calling Melbourne and have them delivered.
